Loma Linda Contact Dermatitis Research Fellow
The Loma Linda Contact Dermatitis Research Fellow is part of the contact dermatitis team. The year-long fellowship will focus on developing the critical skill set to diagnose and manage patients who present for contact dermatitis evaluation. Training includes developing deductive reasoning around the clinical diagnostic differential, as well as patch test diagnostic techniques. Furthermore, the fellow will learn to interpret patch test results by integrating the patient’s history and physical exam with the clinical presentation and current exposure source data. Concurrent to clinical diagnostic work, the fellow will be fully engaged in designing avoidance strategies to optimize clinical remission with the patient. Additionally, the fellowship will involve learning and understanding the interpretation of clinical data for analytic purposes. For more information please email…

This DA Scholars program serves to provide intensive block training and educational outreach dedication to enable scholars to rotate through the critical aspects of patch testing from allergen selection, to patch preparation, application and evaluation, to post patch education in avoidance. Our Scholars program offers a Certificate of Completion to individuals who successfully complete the program.
